I went to college for Broadcast News (c/o 2011) and while I was in school I got certified as a Spin Instructor, Zumba Instructor and Personal Trainer. I spent 2 summers interning at CBS News in DC then got hired after I graduated in NYC. I liked working in TV but I would spend my whole day looking forward to the gym. I ended up leaving TV to go full time into fitness because that’s what I love. People told me I was stupid, crazy and certain “friends” disowned me. Sure, working in TV sounds great to other people, but I’m not living for the opinions of others. The world doesn’t need another fake miserable person doing something just to fit in, the world needs real happy people to inspire and help others do the same. Omw to the #gym it’s one of those days when you wake up and your first thought is “I can’t wait to go back to bed” imma need a miracle to get thru…got like 6 hours which for me is not enough. 

Studies have shown that sleep deprivation is worse on your body than alcohol. Your brain doesn’t work as well, you feel miserable, prematurely ages you and it really messes up results at the gym. Sleep is just as important as eating clean and doing the right workouts if you want results -it’s the trifecta.
